What is the best book on Traditional Chinese Medicine in English?

by admin on November 2, 2009

I would love to learn more about TCM, specifically accupressure, diet and herbs, but the best books are in Chinese. Are there any great books that have been translated well into English?

I have many books in my library today about TCM. I would recommend one as a place to start. It is a very good introduction to TCM for the Western person.
Title is Between Heaven and Earth. Authors are Beinfield and Korngold. The first half is very beneficial. The second part strays into a lot of opinion. But it still is a great introduction.
Another good book about foods specifically with a reference to TCM is Healing with Foods: Asian Traditions and Modern Nutrition by Paul Pitchford.
