Can acupuncture actually start labor, as anyone ever tried it?

I know accupressure has been shown to start labor. My midwife recommended it for me to help get things going. This was with my last pregancy and literally within 8 hours I was going to the hospital and 2 hours after arriving, Jillian was born. I am currently 35 weeks and look forward to getting the okay again to use accupressure. There are several different spots to try. Good luck and congratulations
